  • What should a small business website contain?

  • How do I get a website for my business?

We have samples on our site and can even give you a quick mockup so you can see what the 2021 version of your site will look like.

  • Can you make a website for us even if we're not local?

    We sure can. We're in Richmond, BC but can meet with clients over video like Zoom.  We have small business clients in the Greater Vancouver area, BC, Canada or the US. No matter where you are, we'll deliver local results.

  • What platform do you use to build websites?

    We design and build websites with Snapps.ai, which uses the Duda site builder, with custom interface and widgets for our small business clients' needs. Snapps also hosts the sites, with AWS (Amazon Web Services). We can transfer existing sites to Snapps from Weebly or Wix, and have a blog post on why we prefer it to WordPress for example.

  • We're on a budget. Do you have low cost options?

    We offer a number of packages depending on your business needs. We'll present options we recommend and you can decide. We also offer monthly plans as well as a flat ownership fee. We can manage the site for you or we can turn it over and train you on doing your own updates, with the user-friendly Snapps site builder and hosting platform. We accept all major forms of payment.

  • Who writes the content for the site?

    We'll work with you to plan and implement your site. If you'd like to write the content, we can give input on optimizing for search engines as well as your audience. We can also write content and can do so for most niches. We've got content writers with English degrees and even an MBA. We won't outsource. Talk with us about our monthly site management packages which incllude regular content posts like updates and keyword-targeted blog articles.

  • Are your sites mobile-friendly?

    Our websites sure are mobile friendly. We optimize our sites to adapt and respond to the different types of devices out there - computer browser, tablet and smartphone. Your site will automatically recognize the device's screen resolution and adjust accordingly, for a better user experience. The smartphone / mobile version of your site will be optimized for touchscreens, with features like click-to-call, since mobile users are more likely to be looking for local services and will want to contact businesses directly. Images that appear on our sites automatically show in an optimized resolution for faster load times as well.

  • Do you have customer support?

    We do! You can call or email us any time, or use our contact form and we'll get right back to you. Snapps also has white glove support, if you're managing your own site after we've built it for you. 

  • Where are your websites hosted?

    The sites we build are created and also hosted on Snapps.ai. Snapps uses AWS (Amazon Web Services), the industry leader in uptime. Snapp sites are fast and secure - there is no concern about hacking or expired SSL certificates. That's all included in hosting and updated automatically for a monthly fee. We'll be glad to handle the hosting for you, or if we transfer the site you'll be given full ownership and access.

  • How long does it take to build a site?

    Our turnaround times vary from a couple weeks to around a month. It depends on the scope of the work involved, which we will discuss with you. We can get the site up and continue to do updates and SEO work as well on a monthly basis.

  • How will my site rank on Google?

    Site builds are really an ongoing process, when it comes to search engine ranking. We offer packages for SEO (search engine optimization) which will grow your site's visibility and trust factors. Ranking can take some time, so we also offer marketing options on social media like Facebook, Google AdWords, and even email. We also offer Google My Business (GMB) property and ranking for local business. GMBs are the map pack between Google ads and the organic search results on the first page. No one can make guarantees, but we study SEO best practices and are results-focused. Our SEO packages track ranking and analyze agreed-upon KPIs (key performance indicators).

  • Can we do our own updates?

    Absolutely. If you'd like your site built and then transfered over to you, we will completely transfer ownership in Snapps to you, which includes hosting. Snapps makes it easy to do your own updates using the framework we created, including blog articles. And secure montly hosting is integrated to the platform. From creation to publication, it's a "Snapp"!

  • What if we want your company to manage our site?

    Yes! We can manage your site, doing your updates and hosting, so you can focus on what you do best - running your business. Should you need content updates, fixes, articles, and SEO work - we have packages for that. Youll have one less thing on your plate knowing your website is in the hands of someone who cares and is invested in your success. We'll handle whatever you need, and we'll keep you updated on the regular.

  • How much does a small business website cost?

    The million dollar question! Don't worry, it won't cost a million dollars. In fact our prices are quite reasonable and we'll work with you, passing savings on to you in whichever way we can, without compromising website quality or results. 


    A basic site can cost around $1000, and depending on need - like number of pages needed for services, custom requests, and ongoing updates and management required.


    We offer payment plans as well as flat fees - we'll show you why your website and strategies we offer are worth the investment.


    We'll do a free mockup or website audit/analysis too, if you don't yet have a site or are considering an update if it's been a few years since your last website build. There are all sorts of changes and ranking factors that we integrate into our designs.


     We also now offer ecommerce websites! We can host your online store, with fast, secure checkout, whether you have a few dozen products or a large retail shop. And we can do so at competitive prices compared to Shopify, for example.

  • Do you offer CRM software (Customer Relationship Management)?

    We do! We offer collaborative software with client system access that will help manage your leads - form submissions and calls from your website, Google Ads and even your Google My Business (GMB) property. 


    We can also assist with reputation management, requesting reviews from your customers so that you can show off your feedback. Negative reviews can be addressed directly even.


    We offer heat map visualization on target keywords for your GMB in the local map pack, so you can track your progress.


    And we can generate reports through this software to analyze your return on investment.


    We track emailed and form leads like quote requests. We use Google Analytics for website statistics. 


    We offer special call tracking phone numbers, so you know when the leads come from us and they'll go to whichever phone(s) you'd like. 


    We can even set up the forms so when there's an inquiry, it will generate a phone call to your sales team. Since a quick response matters for conversion rates, time is of the essence. 

  • What is Google My Business (GMB)?

    Google My Business is a FREE business profile listing where as a business you can engage with customers doing a local search. When people are searching on Google for local products, information or services, on the first page of results between the paid ads and organic (non-paid) results, sits the MAP PACK. 


    You'll see usually a map of your area, with 3 business names, their location on the map, contact information, hours, website, directions and review numbers (quantity and average score out of 5 stars).


    Click any of those businesses and you'll get more information still - photos, service category and posts like offers or updates.


    You'll notice there will be more businesses listed once you click the map. These Google My Business listings (GMBs) are identified by Google as local businesses. The business owners can claim the profile, then update it. Google "guides" - trusted sources for local information, photos and reviews - can even name businesses. 


    Google ranks these businesses according to factors like:

    • relevance to the user's search 
    • trusted presence on the internet (how well their main business website is ranked on Google for a given search keyword)
    • how many times the business is mentioned online)
    • average review score 

    We can advise you on the best strategies for completing the GMB verification process - Google vets submissions. We can also help you optimize your GMB so it ranks better as part of your overall strategy to connect with more local customers. This includes managing content updates, which you can post to your GMB - people will see it just like they would blog articles or social media posts! 


    Many people searching click on the map pack and contact the top businesses visible there - without necessarily even checking the organic search below the map pack.
